Job Description
IRI is seeking a highly motivated scientist with excellent documentation skills to contribute in a multidisciplinary team setting, prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, and execute detailed technical protocols meticulously. The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in biological sciences or a related field and experience in mammalian cell culture, large scale DNA assembly and characterization, genetic recombination technology, next-generation sequencing, computational methods and tools for analysis, and statistics. Specific skills in flow cytometry and programming are ideal.
Requirements
- BS or MS in biological sciences or related field
- Experience in more than one of the following: mammalian cell culture, large scale DNA assembly and characterization, genetic recombination technology, next-generation sequencing, computational methods and tools for analysis, and statistics
- Biological experience in one of the following: molecular biology, protein engineering, immunology, or cell biology
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and on individual projects
