Job Description
The Registered Nurse 2 will perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative responsibilities in an Ambulatory Surgical Center. The RN will conduct thorough evaluations, educate patients, and maintain accurate records. The RN will also assist in maintenance of the sterile field, manage surgical instruments, and accurately document all necessary components of the operative encounter.
Requirements
- ADN or BSN from an accredited institution
- Previous Ambulatory Surgery OR Pre- and Post Op, Circulator, and/or PACU experience preferred
- Unencumbered active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maine
- BLS required
- ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
