Applications Administrator

We are looking for a passionate problem-solver to join our team as an Applications Administrator. The successful candidate will have experience with web server and middleware application software and be eager to build their knowledge. They will be responsible for resolving escalations, performing deployments, and providing backup support to team members.

Requirements

• A passion for problem-solving
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• 1+ years of experience with Web and Application Servers including Weblogic, TomCat, Apache, Sun One/iPlanet
• 1+ years experience in analyzing and tuning applications in the areas such as memory management, process or thread management, resource management(JDBC Connection Pools, Execution Queues, JMS etc)
• 1+ years experience working with a NOC environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
