SEASONAL HIGHWAY ENGINEERING INTERN

The Highway Engineering Intern assists the Engineering Department with construction staking, construction observation, records management, Geographical Information System (GIS) data and base mapping, project development, and other Engineering Department functions.

Requirements

• Assisting with preliminary surveys, construction staking and inspection of project
• Performing manual labor duties for road construction to conform with established engineering standards set by supervisors and the highway department
• Assist with on-site construction inspection
• Performs other related duties as required
