Intern, Highways

Michael Baker International is seeking an intern for their Highways department for Summer 2026 to support design and technical activities. This intern will work under the guidance of a Project Engineer/Manager and contribute to highway planning, design, and construction projects. The company has a 80+ year history in highway development and offers comprehensive services.

Requirements

• Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar program
• Focus in Transportation (or similar) preferred
• Software proficiency – Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation
