Intern, Highways

Michael Baker International is seeking a Highways Intern for the Summer 2026. The intern will support the transportation department with technical duties and daily activities. Interns may have the opportunity to work on-site under the guidance of a Construction Manager to assist with construction inspection and research. The position is competitive and offers a chance to contribute to the team.

Requirements

• Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar program
• Software proficiency – Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in organization and presentation of documentation
