Supports various substation systems, including SCADA, ethernet/serial communications, access control and surveillance/camera systems. Maintains records and databases, assists in procedure development, and produces documentation to support regulatory and company requirements.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a technical specialty such as Electrical Engineering Technology, Management of Information Systems, or Computer Science; or relevant equivalent experience and/or education.
- Experience with Genetec physical security software preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting and configuration of technologies such as computer networking, alarm systems, security cameras, control systems or serial communications.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors and individuals inside and outside the Company.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn and utilize job specific software.
- Ability to lift 20lbs
