Job Description
IVA’AL Solutions, LLC is seeking a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) to provide support to the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP). The FAIS will assess families, prevent family maltreatment, provide prevention services and counseling, and collaborate with other professionals and community resources. The position involves a mix of in-home visits, remote counseling, and participation in training programs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the independent level with current, unrestricted State license.
- Two years’ full-time post-master’s experience (within the last three years) providing clinical counseling services.
- Experience as a group therapy facilitator or co-leader.
- Ability to obtain privileges at the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Basic Life Support Certification (Course C).
- Valid drivers’ license.
