Manufacturing Engineer II

Jabil is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to develop and implement manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a high-volume production environment
• Minimum of 1-2 years of medical device experience
• Proven experience with process optimization, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Working Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ and PPQ
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful root cause analysis
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools
• Linux knowledge is a plus
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Experience with automated manufacturing systems is a plus
