Legal Secretary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a legal secretary/administrative assistant to support multiple labor and employment litigation attorneys. The successful candidate will have strong skills in both legal and administrative support, including drafting and revising correspondence, pleadings, and documents, as well as providing administrative support functions such as calendar maintenance and expense reimbursement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years recent experience in a legal administrative assistant role within a law firm supporting litigation attorneys
• Familiarity with state and federal rules and procedures, as well as procedures with state and federal agencies
• Must have a solid understanding of technical legal terminology as well as experience with electronic court filings
• Proficient with Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in cooperative, small office environment in a large firm
