Quality Assurance - HACCP position at Pilgrim's, responsible for supervision of Food Safety and Quality (FSQA), ensuring regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are met within production areas.
Requirements
- Ensure proper implementation of food safety and quality programs like HACCP and SSOP.
- Work closely with production supervisors and managers to ensure regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are consistently met.
- Communicate effectively with team members across departments.
- Recommend and communicate quality procedures.
- Collaborate with operations and USDA personnel, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Read, write, and understand English to meet documentation and communication requirements.
- Apply strong math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verification tasks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use sound reasoning and judgment to make decisions in real time.
- Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.
- Perform job duties in cold or hot environments for extended periods.
- Learn and follow HACCP System procedures; successfully pass all required HACCP examinations.
- Lift up to 40 lbs as needed to complete job tasks.
