The Leadership Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive leadership training programs. They will conduct engaging training sessions, assess training effectiveness, and provide targeted coaching and mentoring solutions to current and emerging leaders.
Requirements
- Develop or procure high-quality training content
- Assess and analyze training needs
- Support the design and enhancement of leadership curricula
- Facilitate or coordinate delivery of workshops and development experiences
- Evaluate program effectiveness and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Maintain the unit's training calendar and curriculum
- Provide one-on-one coaching to current and aspiring leaders
- Partner with external training providers and consultants to deliver specialized training programs and resources
- Assist in the development and implementation of career development, performance management, and succession planning
- Create and maintain leadership competency models
- Administer and interpret leadership assessments and 360-degree feedback tools
- Assist with management of budget for leadership and development programs
- Effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders about available leadership and development programs and initiatives
