Job Description
JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform skilled mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation work on building systems and industrial equipment. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical failures, and delivering solutions that directly impact our clients' daily operations and success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program, technical school training, or vocational certification in mechanical maintenance, industrial mechanics, or related field
- 4-7 years of mechanical maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, bearings, power transmission, plumbing systems, and building automation controls
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, diagnostic equipment (multimeters, infrared thermometers, vibration analyzers), and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
