Mechanical Project Test Engineer

We're a leading global fitness company seeking a Mechanical Project Test Engineer to work in our New Product Development (NPD) team. The role involves evaluating and resolving potential risk and failure areas in mechanical design, testing, and development.

Requirements

• Detailed mechanical and key component design review and analysis for potential failure and risk areas
• Test plan development and execution to mitigate design and use risks
• Product safety review process and expertise
• Product specification review and analysis
• Development of test standards and procedures
• Participation in product safety review processes
• Development of functional requirements and test plans for transition of product into mass production
• Training of Asia-based engineering and factory manufacturing team on design and test requirements
