Job Description
Kern Medical is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join their Surgery Clinic team. The successful candidate will provide primary care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician and will be responsible for ongoing management of selected groups of patients.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California with Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife specialization
- Completion of an approved educational program for Nurse Practitioners or possession of a valid certificate issued by the Board of Registered Nursing
- Completion of a Physician's Assistant training program approved by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance and possession of a current valid certificate
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card
