Job Description
Hiring a Peer Support Specialist to provide hope and guidance to individuals navigating recovery from serious mental illness. This role involves one-on-one counseling, promoting empowerment, and facilitating peer support groups. The position requires a commitment to client self-determination and a strong understanding of mental health rehabilitation standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Entry level experience (no prior related work experience)
- Valid WA State Food Worker Card
- LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration (within six months)
- Ability to meet performance standards
- Demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries
