The Director of Sales and Business Development will lead Komline's go-to-market strategy for data center customers, developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and managing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, and acting as Product Owner for the Data Center NPI initiative.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5-10+ years of successful B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling into data center customers
- Track record of opening new markets and achieving/exceeding revenue targets
- Deep understanding of data center operations, infrastructure requirements, and key decision-making criteria
- Experience selling complex engineered solutions or capital equipment in mission-critical environments
- Technical acumen with ability to understand and articulate water treatment, cooling, or related technologies
- Ability to build relationships with C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort identifying opportunities, taking/managing risks, and creating value in uncertain environments
- Able to communicate effectively, present, and negotiate
- Able to travel up to 70%
