Chief Engineer

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the oversight of the building maintenance of the property, including interior and exterior maintenance. The person must be knowledgeable in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical Engineering.

Requirements

• High School Degree
• AA degree in industry preferred
• Three to Five years of experience as a Maintenance employee in a supervisory role in hi-rise buildings
• HVAC Certified or comparable technical school certification
• Strong working knowledge of basic trades, such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and painting standard principles and practices
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical aspects, pumps, and motors, mechanical systems with a similar degree of complexity
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
• Valid Florida driver's license
• Ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner
