Job Description
La Crosse County is seeking a certified nursing assistant to work in the Long-Term Care Campuses. The position involves assisting residents with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and care of their room and personal belongings. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and must be certified as a nursing assistant at the time of hire and listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification at time of hire and listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be approved by the County for driving facility vehicles
- Must successfully pass a background check as required by the Wisconsin Caregiver law
