The Peer Case Manager will help clients navigate reuniting with their families, providing comprehensive case management and peer navigation services, and serving as a role model or example of what is possible. The role includes attending appointments with clients, facilitating communication between the client’s probation officer, and linking clients to community providers and resources.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years of experience in case management, coaching and peer mentoring working with system-impacted or justice-involved individuals
- Demonstrated experience working in programs working with low-income and other vulnerable communities
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred but not required
- Ability to work comfortably with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Superior Court, District Attorney’s Office, Office of Administration, Public Defenders Office, Probation Department, and funders
- Experience in non-profit and community-based organizations preferred
- Valid CA Driver’s license required
