Role Overview

Join Labcorp's Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in San Diego, CA. Work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule from 11pm to 7:30am, with potential for additional days and hours. Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, and meet department activity and production goals.

What You Will Do

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, unpack and route specimens, accurately identify and label specimens, pack and ship specimens, and perform data entry of patient information.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong data entry and organizational skills, and the ability to accurately identify specimens. Experience working in a team environment and proficiency in MS Office are also required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 3 months or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing
• 3 months or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment
• 3 months or more of experience in the healthcare industry
• 3 months or more of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment
