Sr. Mechanical Engineer

LaBella’s Energy Infrastructure team in Rochester, NY is seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Engineering Division – Energy Infrastructure team. The role involves leading the design of building HVAC and district energy systems, conducting field investigations, and collaborating with clients on decarbonization/electrification projects. The ideal candidate will be a mentor, communicator, and team player with a strong background in HVAC and hydronic system design.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
• Well-rounded experience in HVAC and hydronic system design
• Experience with Revit or AutoCAD (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• New York State Professional Engineer’s license is a plus
