Job Description
Landis+Gyr is a global leader in energy management solutions, seeking a Hardware Engineer II to design, develop, and test electronic hardware for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR)/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems.
Requirements
- Circuit design experience, including circuit simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools
- Electrical verification testing using lab equipment such as power supplies, environmental chambers, industry-specific test boards, and RF/analog test equipment
- Experience with lab equipment - DC power supplies, oscilloscope, and digital multimeter
- Knowledge of fundamental theories of analog circuits, power supplies, microcontrollers, high-frequency signal characteristics, magnetics, and digital signal characteristics
- Experience with soldering electronics is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively across audiences and through multiple mediums
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-regional team
