Senior Business Development Manager

Langan is seeking an energetic, strategic, and relationship-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join its growing team in Irvine, California. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and executing business development strategies that drive growth across Southern California, with a primary focus on Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Requirements

• Research, identify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Southern California AEC market, with an emphasis on Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, owners, developers, architects, contractors, and other key industry stakeholders.
• Serve as a connector between clients and Langan's technical and leadership teams, aligning client needs with the firm's engineering and environmental expertise.
• Lead and support strategic business development initiatives, including market analysis, opportunity tracking, and pursuit planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop targeted strategies, messaging, and approaches for priority clients, markets, and pursuits.
• Support proposal and presentation efforts, including go/no-go evaluations, coordination of internal resources, and contribution to written and oral content.
• Represent Langan at industry, professional, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and strengthen market presence.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client development plans to proactively identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of business development activities, contacts, and opportunities using CRM tools and internal systems.
• Contribute to the firm's overall growth objectives by supporting cross-selling opportunities and fostering collaboration across offices and disciplines.
