As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct care and support to residents in a skilled nursing facility, assisting with activities of daily living, promoting independence, and ensuring comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of CNA experience, current certification, and a compassionate and caring demeanor.
Requirements
- 1 year of CNA experience (preferred)
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in the state you work
- CPR certification
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar medical setting preferred
- Ability to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor
- Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy and compassion
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning and intervention implementation
- Physical stamina to stand and move about the facility to perform frequent rounds and respond to emergent situations
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
- Regular attendance and timeliness
