Job Description
The main goal of this role is to support the LFS Risk Modelling Centre of Excellence by leading the Portfolio Modelling work stream, building, maintaining, and improving quantitative models across the full life cycle of each LFS financial product.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a practical numerate discipline
- 8+ years of experience in developing quantitative models in the Consumer Risk Management & Financial Industry
- Strong commercial acumen and experience throughout the credit life cycle, across several products
- Deep understanding of traditional portfolio modelling techniques and newer machine learning techniques
- Strong knowledge of IFRS9 and loss forecasting modelling techniques
- Expertise in data mining and developing quantitative models using multiple programming languages
- Experience with machine learning platforms (i.e., Dataiku)
- Proven track record designing and delivering analytical projects providing business impact
