Telesales / Counter Sales

Lawsons is recruiting a Telesales / Counter Sales team member to join their Oxford Fencing Supplies branch. The role involves responding to customer enquiries, processing orders accurately, promoting products and supporting branch operations to ensure a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous telesales, counter sales experience is essential, ideally within builders' merchants, timber, landscaping or related sectors.
• Excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Good numeracy and IT literacy, comfortable using telephone systems, tills, handheld devices and company systems.
• Organised and accurate with strong attention to detail when processing orders and handling payments.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
• Flexible and reliable with a positive, proactive approach to work and willingness to work occasional Saturdays.
• Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential.
