Job Description
Supervise Specialists who determine eligibility for government assistance programs and other staff, train and lead staff, and monitor case management services. Develop written guidelines and assign caseloads to staff. Represent staff needs to senior management team and prepare reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the human services field
- Human services program experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Considerable knowledge of current social, economic and health issues and trends
- Principles and practices of effective supervision
- Public assistance programs, policies and regulations
- Effective interviewing techniques
- Skill in operating a personal computer and associated office and agency software
