Job Description
This full-time Counselor provides trauma-informed, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented treatment to clients in a residential setting. Duties include counseling, treatment plan development, case management, and collaboration with various staff members. The role involves assessing client progress, recommending services, and assisting in a multi-disciplinary team setting. The position focuses on integrated treatment processes and addressing legal or educational assistance requests.
Requirements
- CASAC (Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) designation
- 3+ years of direct related experience with the substance use disorder population
- Knowledge of substance abuse treatment (detox and withdrawal)
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Uni/Care
- Familiarity with the TC process
