Summer Autism & Mental Health Technician (Day Services)

Lifeworks is hiring an Autism & Mental Health Technician to work with adults with Autism in various settings. The role involves providing support and training to promote independence, social skills, and general wellness. The position is temporary for the summer but may lead to continued employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education or related field
• High School Diploma required
• Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
• Must be at least 20 years old in order to apply
• Experience working with individuals with ASD adults and their families preferred
• Experience in the realm of vocational training preferred
