The Associate Account Executive is a results-driven sales hunter responsible for generating net-new business within the higher education sector, building a strong pipeline, and closing new deals. The role requires a consultative, data-driven approach, and the ability to maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking using CRM tools.

Requirements

• Achieve or exceed revenue, market share, and performance targets
• Drive full sales cycle execution: prospecting, qualification, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing
• Build and manage a strong pipeline within a defined territory
• Maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, SalesLoft)
• Develop consultative relationships to understand client challenges and demonstrate solution value
• Support renewals, upselling, and cross-selling to expand long-term customer relationships
• Partner cross-functionally with legal, product, and customer success teams to ensure successful deal execution and client experience
• Represent Lightcast professionally in meetings, presentations, and industry interactions
• Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced sales environment
• Continuously enhance product knowledge, market expertise, and sales effectiveness
