Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager in managing current projects, including financial aspects, project submittals, coordination of change orders, and project scheduling requirements.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to take direction from others
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- An understanding of OSHA requirements on electrical projects
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems
- Ability to understand other trade's activities in a project schedule
- An understanding of electrical construction
- Ability to read and evaluate specifications and blueprints
- Deal effectively with customers
- Ability to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure
- Proficient math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software, Bluebeam, PlanGrid
