Licensed Assistant Engineer

Lindblad Expeditions is a true pioneer in Expedition Travel. The Assistant Engineer is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance, operation, and repair of all vessel systems onboard ships.

Requirements

• USCG DDE 4000 License
• STCW OICEW >1000 HP
• EPA Section 608 Technician Type 1 Certification
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Valid TWIC card
• Valid US Passport
• Valid USCG Medical Card per STCW standard (2 years)
• STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)
• STCW Crowd Management (CM)
• STCW Advanced Fire Fighting Certification
• STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Other than Fast Rescue Boats (PSC or PSC-Limited)
• STCW Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties (VPDSD)
