Job Description
This position will oversee the medical services provided by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Tribal Health Services from their two clinic locations. The Medical Director will oversee the medical practice of the mid-level providers and clinic physicians, implement quality assurance initiatives, function as the Clinical Laboratory Director and collaborate with the Clinic Supervisor to coordinate the medical services provided.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine as a Physician in the State of Michigan
- Enrollment as a Provider in Medicare and Medicaid programs (or obtain within 90 days)
- Possess Drug Enforcement Agency certification/licensing
- Board Certification in family practice or internal medicine
