Clinical Lab Scientist-Transfusion

Clinical Lab Scientist-Transfusion performs and interprets moderate and high complexity tests, reports results and prepares blood products following standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices. Monitors pending lists and meets or exceeds turn-around time goals for test production and result reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field required
• Minimum three years of experience in high complexity, computerized clinical laboratory as licensed CLS preferred
• Experience with automated Blood Bank testing instruments
• Experience with smart blood dispensing fridges preferred
• Minimum one year of Blood Bank only experience preferred
