This position is responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations into complaints of discrimination, harassment, and other violations of civil rights and Title IX policies. The investigator will work closely with students, faculty, staff, and internal and external stakeholders to promote a safe and equitable environment for all members of the university community.
Requirements
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into complaints of discrimination, harassment, and other violations of civil rights and Title IX policies
- Develop investigation plans, identify relevant parties, witnesses, and evidence, and interview parties and witnesses as needed
- Document investigation processes, prepare investigative reports, and catalog history in relevant information systems
- Create and facilitate training/presentations on Civil Rights, Title IX, ADA, and topics related to protected status harassment and discrimination
- Foster collaborative relationships with campus stakeholders, work jointly with campus and community resources, and participate in professional development
