
Job description
The Maintenance Planner leads a team responsible for planning, documenting, and implementing preventative, predictive, and project maintenance for plant equipment and facilities. This role requires defining, tracking, monitoring, and estimating required work request hours, part and supply costs, and maintaining a consistent tracking system.
Partner with cross-functional technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish and implement a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime windows. Monitor part inventory, acquire necessary parts and tools, clean and repair operational equipment, and resolve and track maintenance work orders.
This role requires leadership, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, tool and die, and preventative and predictive maintenance systems and procedures.
