Senior EH&S Specialist

Mainspring Energy is hiring a Senior EH&S Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety programs across the site. The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in safety or a related discipline and at least 8 years of experience working with Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Requirements

• Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement programs, safety campaigns, and behavioral safety initiatives
• Coordinate and oversee site environmental, health, and safety programs including Injury & Illness Prevention, Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Electrical Safety, Fire Protection, Machine Guarding, Hazardous Waste Management, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention
• Provide training and guidance on all EHS Training Programs
• Conduct proactive risk assessments including Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and safety reviews for new equipment, processes, and facility changes
• Lead or support incident response and conduct thorough investigations into workplace injuries, illnesses, and near-miss events to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
