Make-A-Wish Canada is seeking a Social Media Specialist to create and implement effective digital marketing strategies across all owned social media platforms to support granting wishes to children facing critical illnesses.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in marketing, with specialized social media marketing certification(s) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, graphic design software, and video editing applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and impactful messaging.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
