Accounts Payable Clerk

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk for its Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of AP experience and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Perform day-to-day processing of payments and ensure completion in an effective, accurate and timely manner.
• Compile, verify and process Firm and client chargeable invoices and check requests.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are updated and reconcile related transactions.
• Responds and handles vendor inquires and reviews vendor accounts and resolves vendor issues timely and professionally.
• Schedule, print, and obtain signatures on paper checks on a bi-weekly basis
• Record miscellaneous transactions into accounting software, including bank transfers and debits
• Manipulate and format data for upload into accounting software.
