Journeyman Telecommunications Engineering Specialist, Unified Communications

Join a team dedicated to safeguarding our nation through advanced tech and innovative solutions. Provide administrative, operational, and management support for the CASTLE-NET unified communications infrastructure, including enterprise-level voice and video conferencing systems. Assist customers with virtual instruction on communication systems and install and configure handsets and video endpoints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in unified communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Excellent knowledge of UC technologies such as VoIP, SIP, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco WebEx
• Extensive experience installing and configuring telephony and video endpoints while maintaining network protocols and security best practices
