Scientist, Chemistry

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Scientist, Chemistry to join their R&D team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree/PhD in Chemistry with 2-5 years of research experience in oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, and characterization. The role will involve leading new nucleic acid related development projects, troubleshooting and solving synthetic, purification and analytical problems, and collaborating with a broad team of RNA, DNA, chemistry, and oligonucleotide scientists.

Requirements

• Master's Degree/PhD in Chemistry
• 2-5 years of research experience in oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, and characterization
• In-depth knowledge of oligonucleotide production processes
• Analytical method of purification and characterization of nucleic acids and their components
• Solid background in biochemistry and biology of nucleic acids and their components
• Demonstrated technical proficiency, and ability to effectively collaborate with others
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
