Job Description
The Engineer III position requires responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting complex issues with hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The role involves working with little supervision and requires strong engineering operations skills, mechanical ability, and proficiency in various categories such as air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in hotel engineering/maintenance, a valid driver's license, and certifications in Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and applicable state and federal requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
- Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
- Applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
