Job Description
The Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a commodity strategy to optimize material objectives. This role involves evaluating supplier capabilities, developing supply plans, managing vendor relationships, and improving supply chain processes. The manager needs to understand the business and technical aspects of the internal Procurement functions.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Strategic Procurement and Commodity Management
- Deep understanding of complex engineering quality issues and solutions
- Purchasing/ERP/Agile experience with materials shortage and inventory control
- Results oriented, metrics driven leader with root cause, permanent improvement approach
- Demonstrated team player committed to quality and continuous improvement
