Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop and implement commodity strategies to optimize material cost, quality, and continuity of supply. This role involves evaluating supply base, managing supplier relationships, and leading projects, ultimately driving improvements in the supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Lead global strategic commodity management for assigned categories
- Participate in new process and product development
- Plan and implement development plans for supplier and potential suppliers
- Lead recovery plans and execution when global supply falls short of demand
- Lead procurement teams and oversee project success
- Conduct supplier business reviews
- Provide feedback to promote improvements within the supply chain
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
