Job Description
We are seeking a Leave and Benefits Specialist to join our team at Mattamy Homes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in leave administration, benefits, and related HR operations, with excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. As a Leave and Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations, as well as providing empathetic and confidential support to team members navigating leave situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in leave administration, benefits, or related HR operations
- Strong knowledge of federal FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and other leave-related laws
- Experience with Payroll/HRIS systems and case management tools
- Strong skills in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
