Director of Health Services

The Director of Health Services embodies Yoi Shigoto, the good work, by leading the overall implementation of health and wellness services in the community. The DHS serves as a liaison with families, hospital personnel, physicians, community organizations, and other related service agencies to provide quality care to MBK Senior Living residents.

Requirements

• Certified RN, LPN, or LVN is essential or 2 years of full-time college attendance
• Prior related work experience functioning in a similar assisted living management role, within a similar industry/work environment is essential
• Prior management or supervisory experience is required
• Current First Aid Certification is required
• Must complete Background clearances (as required by government regulations)
• Must complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results (must be within the last 6 months or within 7 days of employment)
• Valid class of driver's license required by state for vehicle/van(s) capacity and valid insurance
• Solid pc skills and familiarity with several Microsoft Office Suite software programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Email, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction and multiplication) as required for personnel actions, budget and other financial responsibilities
• Ability to lift/carry and pull up to 40+ pounds
• Ability to push residents up to 250 pounds
• Ability to push up to 250 pounds
• Ability to assist in the moving of residents when necessary
