Senior Geotechnical Engineer

McElhanney is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team in Fort St. John, BC. This is a leadership opportunity to shape the future of our geotechnical services in the region.

Requirements

• University degree in Geotechnical/Geological Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis.
• A minimum of 6-12 years progressive experience in relevant geotechnical field, with experience in geotechnical engineering analysis, design, and consulting.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in British Columbia, with registration as a P.Eng. in Alberta considered an asset.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, financial oversight, and schedule management.
• Strong business development capabilities, including identifying and securing new work, building client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.
