IT Operations Engineer

Role Overview

As an IT Operations Engineer, you will work on cross-client technical tasks, analyze monitoring incidents, maintain our platform services, and contribute to the further development of our managed service portfolio. You will focus on administrative activities in complex IT service environments with a focus on scalability, standardization, and automation.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include monitoring and incident handling, further development of our monitoring systems, bulk operations and standardization, endpoint management and M365 environments, managed services and appliances, onboarding of new customers, and service development and optimization.

We are looking for a team player with several years of experience in IT system houses, managed service providers, or comparable environments with customer responsibility. You should have fundamentally sound knowledge in Windows server and client systems, Active Directory, networks, and Microsoft 365, as well as advanced experience in monitoring and problem analysis.

Requirements

• Successfully completed education as a system integration technician or a study in the field of computer science/business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the IT system house, at a managed service provider or in comparable environments with customer responsibility
• Fundamentally sound knowledge in the administration of Windows server and client systems, Active Directory, networks and Microsoft 365
• Advanced experience in the qualified assessment of monitoring notifications, cause analysis and initiation of appropriate measures
• Analytical and systemic thinking
• Interest in further development & automation
• Structured and process-oriented, as well as careful thinking and working style
• Constructive work in the team, and own interest in knowledge exchange and joint solution finding
