Job Description
MHP is seeking a dedicated Outreach Specialist (On-Call) to build relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness and economic insecurity, providing assistance with accessing community resources and crisis intervention. The role involves driving participants to different locations, providing de-escalation and crisis intervention, and ensuring compliance with MHP policies. MHP is a recipient of a 2023 Platinum Bell Seal Award recognizing its commitment to worker well-being.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of experience with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions, or substance misuse
- Credentialed as a Certified Peer Specialist (plus)
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Physical ability to perform tasks.
- Must be able to work on flexible schedules
